The Coffee Gardens, founded in 2017, is dedicated to producing high-quality specialty coffee in an ethical and transparent way, directly linking farmers and consumers. Their mission is in improving farmer livelihoods, creating rural employment, promoting gender equality, ensuring supply chain transparency, protecting the environment, and offering training in good agricultural practices. Farmers benefit from post-season bonuses, employment opportunities, year-round training, price updates via SMS, and receipts ensuring full transparency.

Upper Bukyabo, in Uganda’s Sironko District on the slopes of Mount Elgon, is renowned for its specialty Arabica coffee grown at 1,600–2,200 metres in fertile volcanic soils and a cool, temperate climate. The region’s coffee is processed through washed, honey, and fully washed methods, producing complex profiles with fruity sweetness, citrus brightness, wine-like acidity, and chocolate or berry notes. Local initiatives support farmers with training, sustainability practices, and community reinvestment, ensuring that Upper Bukayo's coffee is not only of exceptional quality but also deeply rooted in ethical and community-driven production.
